Posada de las Flores La Paz

It is a small but elegant hotel situated on the Malecon, Le Paz’s extensive sea side promenade alive with well lit palm trees at night. Our room had a very comfortable bed, settee and desk and an unbelievable above bed lighting arrangement. The room also had a selection of lovely Mexican artefacts which added to the ambiance of the room. Next door was a ‘communal’ room where we tea mad Brits could get hot water for a brew up. The room also featured an ‘honesty bar’ where you could take or make a drink with payment to be made when checking out. Unbelievable in this day and age. There were 2 terraces with comfortable chairs and tables overlooking the inner courtyard and sea, one on the second floor and one on the first floor where the breakfast room was located. The breakfasts were simple but good. There are also two restaurants accessible from within the hotel - an Italian one - superb - and a pizzeria. All the staff we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly. An absolutely great stay and a hotel we would recommend to anyone.

Charming hotel on the Malecon. Rooms are large and rustic. Service if fine, beds comfortable. The hotel and rooms are very clean. Some toilet odors intermittently and water pump sounds due to how the water system works. Overall, very nice.

We stayed at La Posada de Las Flores for a week. The rooms are comfortable, and decorated with good art. The hotel is located on the quiet end of the Malecon. The staff, particularly Cristian, was exceptional. Included breakfasts are prepared by a chef...no buffet! The Italian restaurant on site was superb! We would definitely return to Posada de Las Flores!
