Desert Inn San Ignacio

This would be five stars but the traffic noise was quite loud and went on late into the night and resumed early morning- workers driving to and fro on the main road that passes outside. But that aside the hotel was great. Clean and quiet from neighbors’ voices. Good air conditioning in the room. Wifi was fine. The path into the little town was still being repaired but it’s just a 10 minute walk (it was a very hot day but doable!). I heard the front desk offering laundry service (by another company) and also that they have a clothes line outside that guests may use. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the area very much. Good food at breakfast; we ate at the local restaurant for other meals.

A retro-looking hotel that once had to be beautiful. There is however a nice garden with swimming pool. The rooms are large and clean, the staff is very kind and welcoming. We stayed two nights and had dinner at the hotel very well, even the breakfast was perfect.

This well-run,well-kept property, is walking distance from San Ignacio’s main square. Restaurant is good and service is friendly. Rooms are super clean and in-room coffee service is available. There is an iron and ironing board and there is plenty of room to open the ironing board and use it as another surface. The restaurant is open all day and it has a nice menu. I would stay here again.
