Real del Rio

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. To start, I accidentally made a second reservation for the following weekend and reached out immediately, but the manager refused to issue a refund or make any accommodations, which felt very unreasonable. During my stay, there was major ongoing construction right next door and looks like it will take a year or 2 to complete, creating constant noise and disruption that made it difficult to relax. On top of that, I was charged an additional $20 per night for my daughter to stay in the room, with no clear explanation or justification. The room itself had several issues as well. The toilet repeatedly clogged for no apparent reason, which was both inconvenient and unpleasant. The towels provided were extremely rough—more like sandpaper than something you’d expect from a hotel. Lastly, the beds were very firm and became increasingly uncomfortable after multiple nights, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, between the poor customer service and the numerous comfort issues, I would not choose to stay here again.

Everything was fine (room, bed, shower) until a negligible detail ruined the stay. With no coffee maker in the room, I went downstairs very early with my thermos to kindly request a coffee (my rate including breakfast buffet). The captain denied me!

I stayed here in April 2023 and I enjoyed my stay. They allowed me to do an early check in . The rooms were comfy and modern . The halls are a bit thin but I was still able to sleep . They have room service from a restaurant downstairs I personally just ordered Uber eats . They had security cameras everywhere so that was nice . They also had a gym area what was pretty big . I would stay here again not a bad price at all for the hotel . It’s also across the street to lotus med group clinic .
