Mision Palenque

The town of Palenque itself is a really small country town, but the hotel is also located a bit outside the town, so it's not a place to enjoy walking around. The hotel itself is not bad, with a small pool. The rooms weren't exactly up to date or shiny, but they weren't particularly inconvenient. The food is good. I should have taken a walk in the garden, but unfortunately it was raining and I barely walked.

Hotel unfortunately very much in need of renovation, rooms very noisy, no possibility to darken the rooms. Very unfortunate as the staff is very at pains and look friendly. Pool area is very nice and gardens is also very well maintained. Close to the center. Food not recommended In the morning you are woken up punctually at 04:00 by the howler monkeys.
