Holiday Inn Express Torreon

The hotel feels old, the TV doesn't work, the ironing board doesn't work, the shower takes a while to drain the water, in appearance it feels old. The breakfast served by the attached Martins restaurant is the worst in this chain. Contrary to this, the staff's attention is good and the hotel's cleanliness is correct.

The hotel is old and the cleanliness inside the room left a lot to be desired, the towels and bath mat were falling apart, the shower faucet was loose and hot water never came out. As for the staff, the service was good.

The hotel's location is great, just a few minutes from the airport. Staff at checkin was super friendly and accommodated every request I had immediately. Unfortunately, the pool was closed and would remain closed for 2 more months and the overall building looks dated, this is also the situation for the rooms, they're ok, but that's about it. With a little bit of tlc, some upgrades and refurbishments, this would be a terrific play to stay.
