Casa Mia Suites

We booked a suite at Casa Mia for our 3-night trip to San Miguel de Allende due to its proximity (but not too close) to the Parroquia and the main plaza. When we arrived, we were struck by the beauty of the courtyard, and were amazed when we saw our suite, with its living room, full kitchen, separate bedroom and charming bath. The staff are excellent, eager to provide suggestions for restaurants, and the housekeepers kept our room spotless each day. Can't say enough good things about this place. My only quibble (and it's a miinor one) is that the mattress is a bit too firm for my liking, but I know that's a personal preference thing).

I feel so grateful to have discovered this gem of a hotel right in the center of San Miguel, and a short (3 minute) walking distance to the central plaza where you can always find mariachis, locals, and tourists bustling about enjoying this gorgeous city. The hotel is adorable and has classic, timeless details that have all been updated and very well maintained. Each room is unique and appointed with everything you could need to be more than comfortable. Everything is super clean, colorful, and the courtyard adds a view of beauty and charm from every room. Can't wait to come back again for a longer stay! :)

Great location, spacious room, full sized kitchen in our room, nice courtyard for hanging out. It's walking distance to all the major attractions. The downsides - very hard bed, no late check-out, they offer valet parking through another service provider - be patient, no city views from the room, ants in our bathroom. It's really a 4.5, but a good value. Our family had 7 rooms for a wedding and it was a perfect location for that.
