Hotel Gilda

Mis amigos y yo estábamos en Acapulco por unos días y fuimos al pequeño Hotel Gilda ubicado en Pie de la Cuesta (a 30 mins) para pasar un día tranquilo, relajante y ver la apuesta del sol lejos de la agitación de Acapulco. Todos los que nos atendieron fueron muy atentos y muy amigables y nos hicieron sentir en casa de inmediato. Nos sentimos como en un pequeño rincón en el paraíso y hubiéramos querido quedarnos aquí para siempre !! My friends and I have been staying in busy Acapulco and we went to Gilda's at "Pie de la Cuesta" (about 30 mins away) to spend a quiet and relaxing day and stayed until sunset. It was just the best. People taking care of us were very attentive and friendly and made us feel like home right away. It felt like we had found a small hidden paradise we wish we would never leave !!!

We went exclusively to had a chillaxing weekend were we could take our dogs to the beach. As expected, the guest house is not that modern, yet not a scam. I mean, you can bring your dogs, any size, and they do sleep with you inside the room. It seemed obvious that the furniture and installation in general wasn’t that of a 5 star hotel. It was ok. The food is amazing. Truly. It is a little bit overpriced, specially when you realize thar the zone and the beach (pretty dirty, trash and stuff)is not very urbanized, but it is a big, almost virgin beach, perfect for the dogs to run, chill and walk at dawn.

We went two nights and it was relaxing, the service was great, and the room was better than we expected. We got air conditioner, the bathroom works perfectly and it is big. You don´t get a tv or internet, so take your laptop with movies for the night or a book or things to do at night. We got a minibar which was great for having cold drinks. The beach is really nice, sunsets are just amazing. It would be great to enjoy a DJ (ibiza style lol), or a jazz band, or music, with the sunset at the beach. I order a fish for dinner and it was delicious, and also the chocolate ice cream with licor. The staff is friendly and Gilda is always checking that everything is going well. WORKS PRETTY GOOD FOR TAKING YOUR DOG TO THE BEACH.
