Hotel La Jolla

I've stayed a week at a time for the last three years. Great launching pad to all the city (a cheap bus or cab ride, and you can walk to Caleta Beach and the Zocalo. Not fancy, just clean and reliable and cheap.

This hotel was recommended by friends. Stayed one nigt, looked at the pool, which was moldy. Inquired of ther guests who indicated that the management was aware of the condition of the pool and did nothing. Immediately checked out.

Stayed here when traveling around Mexico and just walked in and got a room for 2 nites for 900 pesos. If you know Mexico that is a little pricey but it was super cold a/c and a pretty good size pool and chairs out the patio door. Not the ritz but not a bad location and had warm water and cable tv. Maid came and cleaned often, room was clean, again not 5 star but great for price
