Loma Linda

Horrible service. The rooms are super hot, there are no fans, the bathroom was covered, we spoke to reception to request a fan and they told us to open the door so that air could enter in a mocking tone. The shower area inside the bathroom smelled very very bad. Honestly, if you have the opportunity to go to another hotel, do it. My experience here was very bad.

Where do you find a hotel in Taxco with an own balcony? Where you can look at the hills when in the shower. Nice swimming pool and easy access to the city. Ok you need to walk/take a taxi to find a restaurant in the evening but if you like hamburgers there is a good place to the right. We are biking from North to South America and were happy to only have to walk in the city centre. Would not like to drive a car there. The hotel has a secured parking area.

I have to say sadly that Loma Linda has depreciated badly since I have stayed there last. The beautiful domed ceilings were covered in black plastic, the towels were very thin, sheets were patched and the hot water took ages to work. Potentially it could be beautiful again, but for now all I can say is that is clean.
