The entire staff at hotel Demetria was incredible. My favorite was how private and cool my room was. The mixed drinks at the down stairs restaurant were out of this world. There is one young bartender with black short hair he knows what he’s doing with the drinks. The front desk staff was also amazing. The two young gentleman who run the front desk were awesome and respectful.

Nice location and easy to get around, but unfortunately the hotel was very disappointing. The property is in serious need of maintenance and renovation. It does not look like the photos online and feels very run down. There were several issues throughout the stay, including things that either did not work properly or clearly had not been maintained. The staff was friendly enough, but not attentive or service-focused. The most frustrating part was when they suggested we had broken the toilet, even though the issue was clearly a small leak from the hose connection and the toilet already flushed poorly. It was disappointing and surprising that they tried to blame guests for what seemed like basic maintenance neglect. Based on my experience, I do not understand the high ratings. The positive reviews and photos did not match the reality of this property at all. Be careful before booking. Overall, the location is good, but the facilities and service do not match the expectations set online. At best, this feels like a 2- or 3-star hotel. I would not stay here again and would recommend avoiding it.

Very attentive staff, room was well decorated, nice ambiance and we really recommend the couples massage in the room, excellent all around!
