Hotel Central Parador

Awful service of security personnel in the morning, is always bad and they answer badly. No bellboy service carried 4 suitcases and I touch on the fourth floor raise them all alone.Better a waiter helped me put suitcases.No one else offered help at the reception said well let me see if they want to help you. If it is a hotel it should have minimal services of this type.The Internet does not reach all rooms, I had to work in the restaurant because there is no table area to work on the computer. The only good thing the very helpful waiters always and always thank you.

We stayed here on route to San Miguel de Allende. Great locaton, just a block from the bus terminal. A few restaurants around, but there is a decent restaurant located in the hotel. Check in was slow, but that is to be expected. The meal at the restaurant was 75 pesos for beans with bacon, been soup, tortillas, rice and dessert. It filled us up and we split it. The rooms are a little shabby, but the t.v. worked and we slept okay except for the bottom sheet was not fitted. Nothing quite like waking up in the night to find you are sleeping on a well used mattress with no sheet. 430 pesos a night for a double twin.

I stayed here 2 nights on December 12. Room 124 ground floor. There are 3 facts that make this hotel good. 1 is location. 2 is front counter staff, 3 is breakfast buffet. The location is great is you are jumping off to go somewhere else. There is a huge main bus station with in easy walking distance. Do not get confused with the intercity bus station. This bus station is for long distance locations. Like PV on the coast. There are many small restaurants and stores, and outside shops to buy fruit, and many taxis. All with in easy walking distance, so if that is your plan, this place is perfect. 2. There is a lady at the front desk that is so nice, smart and helpful. she speaks Great English and helps YOU with your Spanish. She talks slow and clear, and really cares about you. This is a real plus, if you do not know the language or area well. 3. Breakfast buffet. This is a large hotel with many business men. So they can put on a huge breakfast buffet. Most of the times, people are trying to do stuff simple and cheap. Not here. of course I did not recognize 50% of the stuff here. But it was all good. and have as much as you want. There is also a swimming pool, an billiards pool table, 2 foosball tables. So do not stay where I stayed or you will hear foosball teams going and it can be loud. Because of all the cement and tile, the noise can really carry. So if these things are important to you. this is a good place to stay. I am not saying over all its a 4 star hotel, but these points outweighed the less stellar issues of my room. Good luck.
