Casitas Maraika

My partner and I stopped at Casita Maraika for a drink and snack while walking the Las Animas coastal track. The food and drinks were delicious but the staff were over the top constantly wiped every bead of moisture off the table and constantly asking if we needed anything else. When it came time to pay we were asked to provide ID to pay by credit card and it took two staff members to do the transaction. Honestly it is such a nice setting and restaurant but the staff ruined our experience - we couldn't relax we felt every morsel of food we put in our mouth was watched and the second a plate or glass was almost empty the waitres swooped in. I have never had a dining experience like this before it was very unnerving.

Excellent food, attention, and service

We had an amazing time, the food is spectacular. Service of 10! We were greeted with a delicious cocktail of mezcal... the best view, great music... a must if you come to Puerto Vallarta
