Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel Spa & Beach Club

The hotel is beautiful and feels very homey not a super big resort if that is what your after but everything else is lackluster. We got there and the AC was leaking water onto the ground, one of our lights was out in the room, and they accused us of smoking in the room when we never did. After asking them to fix the AC they made it less and laid a towel down but didn’t stop the leak. Lastly, and this is just speculation I think they were shorting the drinks as they didn’t taste very strong. Overall a beautiful hotel but the service was lackluster. Would not recommend and would not go again.

There is not much variety in the children's food, it is unfortunate that the restaurant was closed for renovations; still, the service is incredible, and the fact that there are no snacks at the beach club, we only went to the club once but did not like it, the kindness of their staff is exceptional.

Good experience at the hotel, I already want to return and I just left yesterday, June 14, 2026.
