Las Alamandas was just the getaway I needed to relax and recharge, the food was excellent and the service was a hug to the heart.

Some places impress you. Some places inspire you. And then there are places like Las Alamandas that make you wonder how something so beautiful can even exist. Hidden away on a private stretch of coastline in Mexico, this feels less like a resort and more like discovering a secret jewelry box that only a few people know about. Beyond the luxury, beyond the private beaches, beyond the breathtaking picnic settings overlooking the Pacific Ocean, what truly moved me was the soul of this property. I still cannot believe this place was built over 25 years ago. Twenty-five years later, it remains timeless. Every color makes you feel happier. Every corner feels intentional. Every detail tells a story. You can feel that someone poured their heart into creating this place. The architecture, the interiors, the gardens, the pathways, the furniture selections — everything feels curated rather than decorated. What impressed me even more was learning how much care goes into maintaining this property. Many team members have been here for over 25 years. The staff spoke proudly about the continuous work that happens behind the scenes every week to preserve every building, every garden, every piece of furniture, and every guest experience. This is not luxury built for a season. This is luxury built for generations. Even the food reflects that philosophy. Much of the produce is organically grown on their own farm, creating a true farm-to-table experience that feels authentic rather than staged. As a wedding designer, I left feeling incredibly inspired. Inspired by the fearless use of color. Inspired by the commitment to long-term beauty. Inspired by the idea that true luxury is not about spending more money — it's about caring enough to make every detail matter, year after year. Las Alamandas is proof that when a place is created with vision, passion, and heart, it never goes out of style. Twenty-five years later, it still feels magical.

Fully set place to relax away from the world with classic rustic architecture and colors that combine with the deliciously cut nature and appropriate to the place. When we arrived we crossed a deer and a small bird. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The pool is heated and excellent. There was only one more couple and that's a bridge. It is definitely a very exclusive place (for the price). The tour of the property (800 hectares) is unmissable for the views, beaches, vegetables, lagoon and viewpoints.
