Lack more service in pool snimation is very boring lack more variety train your entertainers congratulations to waiter joel very friendly all the time

KandP Gullen , RM 105 canto del sol. February 2026 With the exception of an unswim-able beach this hotel was truly excellent, I til it wasnt. We were the Feb 16 to the 26th. The cartel hit on the 26th. All flights were cancelled people were put into lock down. During this time the scariest people we met were behind the counter at canto del sol aka canto don't go. Placed in lock down we.immediatly told we had to pay $1500 extra to cover our room for 4 days, we wanted to pay two days at a time because flights were changing daily, but We paid it. With I. Two hours of paying that They then locked us out a second time and told us we had not paid enough and demanded another $575 or we could not access our room, with our passports, clothes and sleep apnea machine in it. When we said we did not have the money, they told us we would have to leave the hotel during lock down, a very frightening experience Indeed. There was no management to assist us until the employees tried to physically remove the children of another family we were with. It took 30 days to go out money back, and we still have not received the full amount, and as far as we know, we have made enquiries no one has been held accountable for the actions, and the apology we received was well not much of one The second reason I would not suggest this resort with (understanding of course that it is family friendly) is the we requested a quiet room but instead we were placed directly infront of the family pool on the 1st floor. We also requested daily to be moved before the next guests arrived but we're told there was absolutely no rooms available and we could not get the manager Cristobel to communicate with us at all. All.in all I highly recommend that if you go to this resort your have extra funds necessary to pay the extortion rate should anything bad happen while you are on Mexico. Two bonuses were.leonella who finally came to help us and Salvadore across the road who was an excellent tour booking person.
