My sister and I spent 5 nights at this hotel and had a wonderful time. The location was good, the price was reasonable, and the room, bath and view were quite nice. The executive lounge was undergoing renovations but they made up for it with their ground floor restaurant. The gym had Technogym equipment and the pool was heated. We took Uber everywhere. The outstanding thing was their staff. So many of them greeted me by name and were lovely. The restaurant and concierge staff took particular care of us. Ronald always had a smile for us and always offered a helping hand as did every other employee. Muchisimas gracias!

During our trip to Mexico City, we stayed at several different hotels, including one that was extremely small and very expensive and another that was large but seriously outdated. Of all the hotels we experienced, the JW Marriott Mexico City Polanco was the best overall. The rooms are average in size, but the space was clean, comfortable, and inviting. After staying in hotels where the size or condition of the room was an issue, it was refreshing to have a room that simply felt comfortable and well maintained. While I wouldn’t describe the hotel as overly luxurious, it provided everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The staff was also very welcoming throughout our visit, and that made a huge difference. There is something to be said for staying somewhere where the staff is friendly and genuinely makes you feel comfortable. The one disappointment was our check-in experience. We started our travel day at 4AM and didn’t arrive at the hotel until around 4 PM, so after such a long day of traveling, we were really looking forward to getting settled into our room. Unfortunately, our rooms were not ready at 4 PM. It was frustrating, especially after traveling for so many hours. Other than that, I was very happy with our stay. After experiencing both an extremely expensive hotel that felt too small and another that was spacious but outdated, it was nice to stay somewhere that was **clean, comfortable, and staffed by welcoming people**. Sometimes those things make a world of difference, and the JW Marriott delivered on the basics that matter most. Overall, this was our favorite hotel of the ones we stayed at during our Mexico City trip, and I would happily stay here again.

Generic: Neither good nor bad, but soul less with no character. I could have been in Vegas or NY. They need to do a better job of being Mexican
