Posada del Tepozteco

The photos simply do not do Posada del Tepozteco justice. We stayed for three nights, and from the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful the property is. The lush gardens, stunning outdoor dining area, and gorgeous swimming pool create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that's even more impressive in person. As a family of four, we decided to treat ourselves to massages, and a few of us also enjoyed facials. The spa setting was absolutely beautiful and made the experience even more memorable. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. Everything was fresh and delicious, with a wonderful variety of options to choose from each morning. It was easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had. After spending time in Mexico City, this was the perfect place to slow down, relax, and end our trip. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to returning. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful grounds, but no air conditioning? For what I paid, that's really disappointing. They only have fans, so if having a cool room is important to you, it's best to skip. I won't return.

Lousy value for money. I paid more than $3,000 pesos (140 dlls.) for a room too small, with dust, sloppy furniture and, in general, poor presentation. The service is, at best and with honourable exceptions, barely decent. The food is no wonder and, again, with a presentation that leaves much to be desired. Don't even say room service. Disappointing experience for the price really.
