Fastos Hotel

The place has acceptable facilities, the restaurant food is very good. The treatment of the buttons, maid and cashier of the restaurant is cordial, the rest have many areas of opportunity. They have nice spaces that they do not know how to take advantage of and the way they manage makes them not look and a little unpleasant, which makes them look like a hotel by the way. Complimentary breakfast is a mockery, not only because of the lightness they offer (don’t expect to see the classic complimentary American breakfast) but because they send people to another space with no staff nearby strongly evidencing an elitist and meaningless aspect, when it would be enough for the restaurant service to just say, “complimentary we offer this, do you like to order something else?” or that what they give and the place they use they offer as a recreational place with board games at hand, coffebreak in the mid-morning and/or afternoon night and could accompany it with putting on the screen that they have a movie, match or give a motivational talk or some general theme because even the furniture for “breakfast” in that place reaffirms the elitism.

An old hotel, fooling people... They offer breakfast included; which is really just fruit bread and coffee.... They treat you like you're homeless and they're giving you some food... DON'T MISLEAD PEOPLE!!! I wouldn't come back!!! Lousy service from some of the staff!

Spent one night at Fastos while transiting through Monterrey. It's very conveniently located right across the street from the main bus terminal/ The rooms are neat, clean, and comfortable. Good beds, nice pillows, and clean sheets. The A/C worked, as did the WiFi. Plenty of hot water, good water pressure, and fresh towels. Flat screen TV with cable and plenty of channels to choose from. Rates are very reasonable. We got a double for around $40. There is a continental breakfast included, but we had an early bus and diod not take advantage. Also, downstairs there's a 24 hour coffee shop restaurant, so you don't need to go out walking in a marginal neighborhood to get something to eat. In all, I was pleased, and would stay here again.
