FIESTA INN MONTERREY VALLE

Excellent location and excellent treatment from the staff and comfortable rooms in addition to the food from the restaurant and its amenities.

We stayed only 2 nights; on the first night, we arrived by 6:00 PM because we were with my sister who lives here. They did not have the room ready, and when they provided us with the room, it turned out that the phone did not work and the air conditioning was set to heating mode, which did not cool the small room. We went out to McAllen, and although we arrived earlier at the Wyndhamm Garden hotel, the reception staff greeted us with a smile, offered us water, and gave us the room early. We returned to Monterrey and stayed at the same Fiesta Inn Valle hotel at 2:10 PM, and they told us we had to wait. The receptionist did not smile, and they really do not provide warm service. We were with my mom, an elderly person, sitting at the reception, and no one offered us a bit of water when we arrived; they only mentioned that we had to wait. Very few staff were friendly, like the bartender and the one who welcomed us to leave our bags in the room. On my last visit, we stayed at the Hyatt, and for value, price, and kindness, I would not stay at this hotel again; I would return to the Hyatt. I do not understand how on the first night they did not have the room ready on time, they did not deliver it functioning well, and upon our return, they made us wait when they should have made an exception. For this reason, I rate this hotel as inattentive and not identifying their guests with warmth.
