I was only there for one night and there was no heating in the place, the bathroom curtain was torn and thin, the pillows were extremely dirty, towels were old and dirty, they didn't provide hand towels, Mr. Ricardo at the reception had zero friendliness, everyone was in a bad mood. The place is not suitable for resting, there is too much noise.

It is an old hotel; the furniture is old, and the colors are a little bit strange. The location is not good. There are a lot of civil houses around and a street market (which could be a nice opportunity for street tourists, but mostly it will look like a place to avoid for a regular tourist). However, the price is adequate if you are a low budget tourist. It is not a bad option, it is just a regular old hotel.

The hotel is about 30 minutes away in a car and nestled in a neighborhood familiar with large tour buses and mariachis rehearsing. I booked my first 2 nights/3 days through Worldwide Travel Experts and a 3 night without the travel agency's assistance. Both bookings were easy and straightforward. The concierge is very helpful and friendly, even with the language barriers. The other hospitality staff were also very friendly and professional. Location is walkable to storefronts, but the streets are narrow and crowded at times.
