Santa Rosa Suites

This is a first class hotel. Updated rooms and very friendly staff. The hotel is attached to the Macroplaza and the paseo for lots of shopping. The famous Sanborns is next door or breakfast at the hotel restaurant. It’s easy to run back to the hotel for a quick shower or nap. In the US, this type of hotel would be too expensive for me. We paid around $60 a night for two queen size beds and an ante-room with a pull-out sofa, bar, fridge, sink, and microwave. Ask for Mario or Jorge...they are awesome hosts! There is one woman sometimes at the desk who isn’t as friendly, but everyone else is. (Skip the Colonial Hotel next door. No one was ever at the desk, and the rooms don’t lock from the inside.)

The hotel is centrally located in downtown Monterrey. Very good restaurants, shopping, and museums within walking distance. The room (suite) was clean, very comfortable, and secure. This is a small hotel and the staff is very attentive.

Couldn't ask for a better location...shopping, eateries (all types), museums--all within walking distance, parking is great, and WiFi in the room. Junior suite had king bed, small living area with table, chairs and sleeper sofa, a small refrigerator and micro wave. Room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and attentive.
