What a horrible meal. We tried the bbq plate and it was horrible. The sauces were served in small plates where we could barely scoop any of them. Slow service and felt bad in the middle of the night. Won’t come back.

Stayed two nights on our way back through town. The hotel entrance is in gated community. You can tell at one point this resort was hopping and full of life but now just rents out a few rooms. It's beautiful and a bit heartbreaking. But it's a hotel, not Dreams or Sandals. The beach access is not fun. It's very, very old, falling apart, rusty stairs (rusty at bottom). There is no chairs or umbrellas on beach for this hotel. There's no restaurant, bar, or breakfast. Wifi worked but only close to front desk. I was ok with all of that, taking a break from Internet and people was quiet and calm. We had a car so we were able to leave and go into town. Easy 5/10 drive. Our room was outdated but clean and had a lovely patio with a small grass area. Honest opinion, if I was to stay again, I would. Tip- I've read in other reviews people wanted refunds because it wasn't what they expected. Please note that if you book through a 3rd party, like bookings.com, Expedia, etc ..you have to get refunds from them, not the hotel.

I recently booked through Expedia where this was advertised as a 5 star hotel with free wifi and free breakfast. Although the room and the view were nice it is far away from everything and has no wifi, breakfast or even coffee maker in the room. The restaurant is not even a thing here anymore. The pool is lovely but is not only for hotel guests so there was often nowhere to enjoy a poolside lounge.
