I want to share my experience to avoid other people going through the same thing. My stay (August 2025) at this hotel was anything but pleasant. Among many observations I can make...
1. Reception:
Arrived around 8 pm, expecting only quick check-in. What I found was the prelude to disaster. The reception staff, with an insulting apathy, kept me waiting TWO HOURS standing in front of the counter. His priority was not to attend; it was his cell phone, his personal conversations and his absolute incompetence to manage simple reservations. There was no apology, but cheap excuses.
2. The room: An unhealthy, claustrophobic cubicle.
Finally, I was assigned a room. The first impact: a smell of confinement and humidity. When he tried to turn on the air conditioning, only a hiss came out. There was no directory to dial to reception, so I had to go back to reception to report the problem. The answer was a cheeky "Hotel is full, there's nothing we can do." The air conditioning NEVER worked throughout my stay, turning the room into an unbreathable sauna. Not to mention that there is no wifi.
The dirt was evident, as if they hadn't passed a broom in days. In the hallways, I saw cockroaches and ants walking freely. The sheets had dubious, rough stains, the bathroom mirrors were fogged with dirt and the towels were old.
3. Services: An endless list of failures.
Elevator: IT DIDN'T WORK! I had to go upstairs, carrying my bags myself because the staff, genuinely lazy, was playing the misunderstanding.
Agua Caliente: ZERO! Every night, there was just no WATER. Neither hot nor cold. NOTHING. When I complained, the receptionists (rude women with a total contempt) told me that they could do nothing. The solution? They kept putting on makeup, I had to go down to the reception, endure their bad faces and go up THREE FLOORS with HEAVY WATER CUPS. And it’s not because you can’t do it, but because you vacation to rest and forget about stress, not to be resolving.
Cleanliness: They never cleaned my room. The bed was left unmade, the trash unthrown and the dirty towels unchanged, muddy toothpaste in the bathroom sink.
4. The Breakfast Charade Included and the Deliberately Inefficient Logistics.
I booked breakfast included. The first night, I was told the hotel restaurant was closed. The next day, they announced they were taking me to an outside restaurant... the only thing you can appreciate about the place given its conditions. Here began his foul play: The driver scheduled for 8:00 a.m. never arrived on time. I waited MORE THAN AN HOUR in the lobby, watching as the reception lady prioritized again makeup and her cell phone instead of calling the driver and attending to the situation. When I claimed him, his response was a string of childish excuses, blaming everything but his ineptitude.
The result? I missed the waterfall tour I had already paid for. Their strategy is clear: delay the Service so long that the guest gets tired and desists from claiming what they already paid for. In the end, I was on time for lunch, not breakfast. And to top it off, the manager, instead of apologizing, BLAMED ME for not "giving them more notice." A lack of professionalism and abysmal respect!
5. Visual Deception: Photos lie.
The photos on the internet are 10 years old or edited. REALITY IS DEPRESSING. Quite the opposite of your advertising.
The pool is cut out.
The waterfall is DRY, full of leaves and soil.
The water in the pool is cloudy, with a greenish and disgusting tone, I didn't even get in.
The doors of the rooms have rust and tartar.
The amenities are the worst quality plastic bottles.
The Mood is totally abandoned: guests hanging clothes on balconies, and at night the smell of marijuana in common areas is constant and annoying. Looks like a neighborhood and not a hotel.
Final Conclusion:
A hotel that does not meet the basics: Cleanliness, Service and honesty.
This establishment is a CANCER for the hospitality industry. It's the perfect combination of lying, dirt, neglect and customer abuse. They charge for services that don’t exist, they have a staff that is a burden rather than a help, and their management is an absolute disaster.
Ask for a tip? It's the height of nerve. Tip why? Because of his bad attitude? For forcing me up buckets of water?
I'M NOT GOING BACK IN A NIGHTMARE.
I DON'T RECOMMEND IT.
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR MENTAL HEALTH: AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS.

Very bad this hotel the rooms were dirty, maybe the pool did not get in because it looked very dirty, but the worst is the lousy and rude attention of the staff, from the reception they receive you with bad faces, in the beach club the vigilante practically ran us, for carrying a bottle of water wanted us to consume and since we did not consume the bottle very rude the type, we asked for refund of the money but they did not make it valid, an hour from being there and we wanted to leave I do not recommend it at all.
