Blater Hotel

Outstanding. It is helpful to know some Spanish, some of the staff are overwhelmingly helpful with a great understanding about not knowing Spanish. Detail is wonderful, very well operated, I'd put it on par with a much better rated facility. I did have problems , unable to delete a message on this facility, but it was all cleared up.

We stayed in the 2-bedroom apartment at the Blater Hotel in March and it was amazing. There were 3 of us and there was plenty of room, a nice kitchenette and two massive bathrooms. Also the AC works great and fast! The rooftop pool was just outside of our door and the other pool was just below. The pool was incredible as we could look out over the beautiful waves and because the beach is not swimmable it was great to relax in the pool. The restaurant downstairs was amazing and they brought up our breakfasts and lunches right to the pool each day. The hotel is not directly in the town - and it is a bit of a walk to the hustle and bustle - but it made for a peaceful and quiet stay. The front desk was able to call us taxis, however, there is no ATM nearby so that was difficult as you needed cash to pay for taxis. We went out for most dinners though. There were minor issues such as no ATMs, not having many restaurants/no stores in the vicinity, and low water pressure in the showers, but honestly for how lovely everything else was, that was okay. We had friends stay elsewhere and they were super jealous of our pool and room!

Everything was fine until we checked out, the hot water took almost 10 minutes to get warm. When we checked out they scammed us out of 100.pesos they said we damaged the tissue cover, we told them it was cracked when we arrived and they insisted we did it. Stay away.!!!
