Gran Hotel Queretaro

Don’t stay at this hotel. The rooms are hot, dirty and have an unclean smell. I unfortunately booked this hotel based upon other reviews on TripAdvisor. If you like hotels with AC stay away from this one!

We were in a pilgrimage group and we stayed in this hotel overnight. It fronts a plaza and we had fun shopping. Downstairs is a restaurant/bar. It is a nice historical hotel. The staff was helpful and the room was big. The restroom and shower was equally spacious. The manager was so gracious, he boarded the bus to thank us before we left.

The hotel itself was very nice, but incredibly noisy! Our room was very close (too close) to the Cathedral. Bells rang all night long in 15 minute intervals. The bar downstairs was also very loud with music playing to one or two o'clock in the morning. It was impossible to sleep. Another family member was in a different room and didn't have as much noise. The view was wonderful and the staff were courteous. It was just really noisy!
