I have stayed at this hotel four times before and this time we arrived it was a very bad experience. On our arrival the host of the hotel was a very unpolite and professional person in how he addressed the client, nothing of kindness, nor even a good afternoon or good day. Once our room was assigned, we called by phone before to ask if the beds could be put together like the last time they had done it and they said that without any problem then we asked the host if they could put them together, his answer was simply "No" without giving any explanation and in very bad tone. When we settled in the room we went to check the bathtub and it was dirty with hairs (check the photos) I went to the lobby immediately to comment that if they could clean the tub and the answer was again a simple “No" followed by there are no cleaning personnel, I asked him what could we do about it and he said nothing, he immediately accessed the cashier and told me I will return your money very rudely, I told him to please call the manager and again he answered "No", he refused to solve the problem to clean the tub or call to the manager about it an his solution is to take your money he literally pulled out the bills and hand them to me and said you better leave. It is the worst attention I have received from a host in a hotel and the least professional the name of the person is Cesar Alcocer, the previous host they had in this hotel was a really attentive, polite and friendly person. They lost a frequent customer with their unprofessional service and unwillingness to solve a very simple issue.

Just a few blocks away from the middle of the Queretaro Historic district on a very quiet side street easily accessing everything a tourist would want to see. Clean room with all the amenities including wifi. You may have to work with the front desk on the wifi as there are two zones within the establishment. Be aware that breakfast does not come with the room so ths is not a B&B. There is a restaurant in the lobby but it is separate from the hotel. Good food and nice breakfast...but its opening hours are a bit haphazard, but that should not reflect on the hotel. The concierge speaks English but don't expect many English speaker guests who tend to do the American-style big hotels which cost twice to three times as much. Walking around is neat with little cafes, shops and markets all around

Arrived late evening, and were taken to our room off the back courtyard. Room was huge, with 2 queen beds, table and chairs, small couch, beautiful woodwork, and lovely Unique bath....almost like an artisan bath, tiled with jets. Great info from the front desk, to head out safely just 2 blocks to a beautiful park and several restaurants. The town was lively! Off to sleep ( my bed was a bit firm, it ok). We were awoken by church bells and fireworks and then dogs howling at 430am....later to learn there was a special fiesta going on....it kept going for quite a while. Check out is late here, 1pm, but we needed to be on our way after breakfast. Not included, but good choices including a special. We were lucky to have a pianist playing during breakfast...a nice touch!
