El Dorado Seaside Suites A Spa Resort, by Karisma

The landscaping and layout were great! It took about an hour and 25mins from airport….furthest we’ve stayed away from the airport. However, we were disappointed and became frustrated with the room quality, bar options, food options, etc. We are not typically complainers, but we usually take one vacation a year and this one left us more disappointed than rejuvenated. I had to involve my travel agent’s help to get some resolutions. We found out while on our trip, they would be shutting down a week after we leave for renovations. It felt as they were working on a limited budget of food, service, etc. We will NOT be returning here, even after renovations. They’ve lost my business.

We got food sickness for there restaurants!!! DONT GO HERE THEY AWILL GRT YOU VERY SICK FOR YOU HOLIDAY! When I confronted the concierge and told him we got sick he said that there is a a doctor on site but we will have to pay an outrageous amount. Then he said that we can’t prove that it was them and said we should take a stool test to prove it. All well full knowing we are flying out tomorrow. The people in the suit above us are sick and 3 other couples. But El Dorado sea side does not care. DONT GO HERE UNLESS YPU WANT TO GET FOOD POISONING!!!

Our group of friends decided we needed a little getaway — you couldn’t beat the deal at El Dorado! The rooms were fine - nothing necessarily noteworthy (they were basic rooms that were very well kept) but we weren’t going to vacation to spend the days in our rooms. The entertainment here was top-notch. Luana & Ben made this trip unforgettable. We played volleyball, music trivia, bingo and karaoke. The food was great, the pools were great, the staff was EXCELLENT… everyone we met was so kind and helpful but I would go back solely because Luana and Ben knew exactly how to get everyone pumped up and enjoy their vacation to the fullest. Take the trip!
