Koox Matan Kaan

The hotel is very basic. Air conditioning and TV but no bottle of water or glasses in the room. The beds have a certain hardness that you have to love. The curtains let a lot of light through. There is a nice pool but because this is in a courtyard garden, fairly fresh. Breakfast is meagre and extra toast has to be paid. The beach is within walking distance. The village is a hotel+ restaurant village. Little variation. No elevator, no lunch/dinner.

The hotel is one block from the beach and one block from an ATM. It's very quiet and the staff is very friendly. We made the reservation by calling the hotel directly. We loved that pets were allowed for an extra 250 pesos per stay. Outside the hotel, there's plenty of parking, as it borders a park, and taxis also park there if you want to get to nearby areas. It has a small pool without people, we found it very cloudy and they were barely going to do any maintenance on it. The rooms have a wardrobe and a small table and are very clean and quiet, as well as having a fan and air conditioning. If I want to return, the place is magical and this hotel is at a very good price.

I heard about this hotel from Tripadvisor and friends who were here days earlier. In the photos you see on the site they look very nice, but. Upon arrival at reception, and seeing the green moldy and messy pool, we We are left thinking about how the rooms will be?? Then it's several floors, and I don't think they have a lift. We asked about the restaurant and the front desk told us that for breakfast only. So we better go to another hotel.
