Amaite Hotel & Spa

I recently stayed at this hotel and I'll start 'saying the positives, only one, the central location together with a nice piece of coastline with palm trees and very nice sea (sargasmus permitting), the rest unfortunately 'was very disappointing starting from the guy put at the reception who is decidedly unempathetic so with a very cold level of reception, the rooms are on the edge of indecency or the size is microscopic (we had a junior suite) with a queen size bed so not only small but also short I, who am not a basketball player, I had feet coming out. The mattress and pillow looked like sacks of flour, after four days on that bed I got sciatica and cervical inflammation. from the bathroom sink came a trickle of water so difficult to use. Not to mention the bar/restaurant inside where there are people who often verge on rudeness without counting the biblical times to bring commands. The owner, Italian, although present in the structure and 'completely at large towards its customers. In short, a place to adapt a lot, the only thing not in line with adapting a lot are the prices that instead are from structure of a much higher level and I think that in the island at that price you can find much better.

A very cosy hotel with about 20 rooms. The rooms are tidy and well kept. All rooms face the pool and ocean. The pool area is spacious and there are alot of sunbeds to choose from. And just a couple of steps you stand in the ocean. The restaurant is pretty good, they have alot to choose from so everyone was happy. The continental breakfast isnt very good and the coffee is more like tea so i guess its more for americans than europeans! But the location is 5/5, i dont think there is a better location on Holbox. Close to the beach and all the restaurants and shops in the city Only thing that bothered us was the handling of small vouchers for breakfast. We spent 8 nights here and every morning we had to hand over a voucher for our breakfast before we could eat. Same staff so i think ghat they would remember us. I guess its a manegement issue not a staff issue. As a guest you have 20% in the restaurant if you pay cas - 10% if you pay by card. But hou have a special voucher for this to! So the voucher thing is a little crasy! I would come back!

The resort is careful to detail in every corner: everything is spotless and you can see the attention they put into offering a high level experience. The rooms are very nice, spacious and always perfectly clean. The food is really delicious, both meat and fish dishes, and the cocktails are spectacular, especially passion fruit mezcalita, which has become our favorite. We want to thank Mario and Alessandra especially, who did their best to fulfill each of our wishes and made our vacation simply unique. The pool is beautiful, spacious and very nice to relax. We recommend this resort without a doubt: an unforgettable experience from start to finish.
