Hotel Del Sol

[eng below] Chegamos a Cancún no final do dia, cansadas. O check-in foi demorado; o funcionário parecia estar com muita preguiça, não foi nada prestativo. Foi um tanto rude, bocejando enquanto falava conosco. No entanto, os quartos bem limpos e cheirosos e a cama era bem confortável. O duche era quente mas caía a água muito fraca e rareada. O café da manhã diz ser "continental", mas você se senta à mesa e a funcionária vem perguntar o que você quer comer. Você não pode servir-se a si mesmo: se quiser repetir o café precisa sempre pedir à funcionária. A senhora foi muito simpática e educada. Não há nada vegano exceto um pão torrado (de forma, industrializado) e geleia industrializada. O café era saboroso. Não tem bebida vegetal e nem mesmo frutas. * We arrived in Cancun at the end of the day, tired. Check-in was delayed; the employee seemed to be very lazy, he was not at all helpful. He was rather rude, yawning as he spoke to us. However, the rooms were very clean and fragrant and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot but the water was very weak and sparse. Breakfast is said to be "full/continental", but you sit at the table and the waitress comes to ask what you want to eat. You can't help yourself: if you want to repeat the coffee, you always have to ask the employee. The lady was very nice and polite. There is nothing vegan except toasted bread (loaf, industrialized) and also industrialized jam. The black coffee was tasty. There is no vegetable drink or even fruit. [Visited in February 2020]

The location could definitely be better, but the view and comfort of the rooms could not be. Very friendly staff, very cheap place, would recommend to anyone. Is outside of the hotel zone, but if that's where you're looking for this has got to be the best place. Stunning view, comfortable accommodations, fantastic visit.

Friendly people and great location away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sir conditioning worked well and room was very clean. Lots of storage for clothing. Directly across from Captain Hook Marina. The rooftop patio is a nice place to observe Cancun and relax with a cold beer.
