Hotel Palma Real

We stayed for about a week 3 years ago . It's unforgettable ! Every night we would enjoy connecting on the rooftop lounge area. We had everything we needed from an accessible outdoor kitchen to our cozy . room and terrace overlooking the little mercado across the street . The laundry room was accessible and the owner is friendly and helpful . We were there off season and it felt like the whole hotel was ours ! even though there were other guests v, who were also friendly. None of the guests kept us up at night band it's so refreshing that they DO NOT USE Fabuloso which isn't an easy find for a hotel there ! It was clean, cozy, and whimsical! We will be back,!!! 🎉👑❤️

Loves las Palmas ! Kate, the owner, was delightful. ! So helpful. Friendly. Accommodating. She is wonderful host. Her place is sooo cute and welcoming. Location can’t be beat. We will definitely be back ! Thank you Kate!

I recently had the pleasure of spending 15 nights at Hotel Las Palmas in Isla Mujeres, MX. I was a bit anxious about doing my first solo trip in many years; however, after reading several comments on Isla Mujeres group pages, I chose this hotel. It turned out to be an excellent decision. The hotel is colorful, cozy & comfy looking with a great sense of community. If you are on your own & wanting to meet new people, this is a great place for you. This is mainly due to the communal, shared rooftop kitchen. That is the place to get your morning coffee, & also prepare & cook any meal you wish. This is where you will meet other hotel guests & get to make new friends. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make a small snack or a 3-course meal. There are dishes, cutlery, drink containers, pots & pans of every size, 2 toasters, a microwave, a full size fridge, etc. There are shelves of spices, available for your use as well. The rooftop is also your tropical garden escape place. Kate, the owner, has all kinds of beautiful plants & shrubs decorating the area. If you want sun, there are sunny spots. If you want shade, you can find that also. It’s a beautiful area to relax & read, or to share a drink with friends. There is also a dipping pool up there. Every room has its own theme, & all are unique & different. The painting & artwork in each room was done by Kate. I was in the Birds of Paradise room on the second floor. There is ample storage space in each room, & lots of hangers. The hot water & water pressure for the shower were the best I have ever experienced in Mexico! There are different nooks & crannies to sit & relax on this floor as well. On the main floor, there is a lovely little library, with almost any kind of book you’d like to borrow to read. You can also rent beach chairs, coolers, etc., to make your time at the beach easier to deal with. The location is excellent for beach access. It is one block from Playa Norte & s short 2-block walk to Playa Centro. Location is also great for access to the popular Hidalgo Street, with all its shops, restaurants & bars. And, it is located directly across the street from the market, with access to all the fresh fruit & vegetables you want. You can’t go wrong with Hotel Las Palmas.
