Hacienda Paradise Boutique Hotel

Very good experience. The location is excellent, close to everything and two blocks from the beach. I want to highlight the attention of the receptionists; they were always very kind and attentive. I would definitely stay here again.

Awful in every respect. We had a very very bad experience. We arrived at night after 15 hours of flight and the room overlooked a party that cut at 2am, the noise was such that we could not even watch TV. At 7am a construction site was starting next to us that the noise was fatal, rumbling inside. The room totally sloppy and dirty, in the bathroom hairs on the wall, grime, rusty. We asked for a change of room and were told it was not possible. Breakfast never experienced anything so horrible, toast made 3 days ago cold, cups piled broken and dubious clean and nothing more. I don't recommend it at all! It is very expensive for how horrible it is, we highly recommend the be plaza that is a few blocks away. Much cuter and highlights the attention. We had contracted for take-off/expedition and to take-off they refused the return and there they agreed to change us to another room with a very similar noise once we had the bags ready to go. No one came to see us the manager or showed up all day, the people at the front desk were not prepared to solve anything.

It's not even a 4-star hotel. Serious maintenance and cleaning deficiencies are noticeable from the beginning. The linen (sheets and towels) is of low quality and dubious neatness, clearly below any reasonable standard. The room had a single electrical outlet, occupied by the night light (of which, in addition, there was only one). The safety deposit box was loose, untouched, so it is merely symbolic. During the stay there was no internet connection, which also made the TV unusable, as it works exclusively through Roku. The included breakfast is really pathetic: just some raunchy toast with butter and ultra-processed jams, with no fresh options or variety. We also suffer from a lack of sanitary hot water. Add to this the presence of dead insects (moths and cockroaches) inside and behind the furniture, evidencing months without deep cleaning. The staff were uncool and unpredisposed, conveying a distinct sense of general discouragement. The whole establishment gives the impression of being in sharp decline. Bottom line: it does not meet minimum standards, the published category is misleading and the price-benefit ratio is very bad. I wouldn't recommend it.
