Hotel Playa Palms

This is a very nice and very clean hotel, which is unique in Playa del Carmen. The daily cleaning team and services is perfect, very precise.The staff is really super friendly and helpful, they do everything to make your holiday enjoyable.Special thanks and greatings to Alfredo from the reception and Miguel for the cleaning and nice surprises from towels. Altough, the hotel is in a walking distance from 5th Avenida, it is very peaceful and relaxing no noise from the fiestas inside the hotel. The only negatives are: 1. the so called continental breakfast which is very poor ( only few slices of fruits 2 slices of bread and some yoghurt with granola) However all the rooms equipped with toaster, shaker, microwave and fridge so you can prepare your own meal. 2.There is no beach (playa), only sand and sunbeds, it means that you can not go into the sea from the hotel due to erosion of the cost.

With plenty of time to cancel, we took a day off our vacation in Cozumel to make sure we would be happy here. We met with Alfredo. He confirmed we would be in room 213, which we liked. He even gave us the. WiFi code for 213 to let us know the room was locked down in their system for us. Then we arrive 2 weeks later and the staff has no idea what I am talking about. The hotel lied to us (Alfredo?), so they get this bad review. The room we have is not as good as the room we were promised. Alfredo???

A small, fine, central yet quiet seaside hotel with incredibly lovable and always helpful hosts. Perfect for a city trip by the sea in the center of Playa del Carmen. It's incredible what peace and quiet surrounds you, as soon as you've passed the entrance and entered the green garden with pool and palm trees and open to the sea. A magnificent oasis in the middle of Playa del Carmen's hustle and bustle! An impeccably clean, daily cleaned and perfectly tailored to our needs spacious room with terrace, hammock and a very well equipped (fridge, coffee machine, toaster, microwave) kitchen corner. The famous Quinta Avenida with all the shops and restaurants is (not!) a minute walk, the Frida Kahlo Museum is a block and about 5 minutes walk away and the Ado bus and ferry terminal to Cozumel (perfect for a day trip there and back) about 10-15 minutes from Playa Palms. In addition to the perfect "corner data" for us, our hosts Daphne and Alfredo also added souls ❤️ 🫶 and thus a very unexpected wave of warmth, helpfulness, warmth and care on Topp ❤️ Hasta luego Playa Palms Beach 😗 Hasta luego Daphne e Alfredo ❤️ 🫶 🌞 Chrissi & Gertrude
