Akumal Beach Resort

Even though the hotel wasn't very busy during our stay, it never felt empty. It always felt clean, fresh, peaceful, and well cared for. The only small issue we had was with the reception staff that wasn't as welcoming as everyone else. Thankfully, they resolved our inconvenience, and after that, everything was perfect. We truly loved our stay, the entire experience, and especially the stunning turquoise ocean. It's the kind of place that makes you stop and feel grateful for the beauty around you. I also want to give a special thank you to three people who made our vacation even better: - German, thank you for always being so kind and welcoming. We truly appreciate you and everything you did to make us feel at home. - Adriana, thank you for your wonderful service and for always greeting us with a smile. You made every meal a pleasure. - Nicolas, thank you for the amazing drinks, your positive attitude, and for always making us feel welcome. You all made such a difference during our stay, and we're so grateful for your kindness. ❤️

Visit number 5 to ABBR. just another fabulous holiday. The staff, the à la carte restaurants, are just wonderful. Thank you guys at the poolside and snack bar for feeding and watering (!) us daily. A huge thank you goes to the workmen on the beach daily cleaning it up from the sargassum, so relentless a job, you’re all amazing. Finally a massive thanks to Alan Torres for making our last night the most beautiful end to a wonderful holiday. We will definitely return❤️

We had an amazing honeymoon experience here. The staff and amenities are amazing. Everyone was so kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. I have food allergies so I really appreciated they took them seriously and kept me safe. The rooms are nicely renovated and really great quality. When we booked they offered free upgrade when available if you book more then 5 days which we were able to get moved from the basic option to the penthouse which was super nice. Rokm was very nice and clean. The new gym is one of the nicest and most complete gym I’ve ever used. The spa that is about to open looks amazing. The food and service were very good at every restaurant. The service was especially amazing at the Kooban, Alux, and Nuvala. We loved the low noise and lots of nature everywhere. We saw around 5 sea turtles laying eggs on the beach at night during our stay which was amazing to see. The report location is near the right amount of activities without being overly touristy atmosphere. We got to snorkel with the sea turtles and fish. We also went to Cancun to swim with the whale sharks which was so fun. The excursion office was really helpful in booking this. Overall great value and experience that we will think about for decades to come. Thank you to the staff and especially Alan.
