Blue Parrot Fifth Avenue

We recently stayed in the Blue Parrot after having lots of Problems at the Riu Tequila in Playacar forcing us to leave early and needing another room. Well, we had room 304 which is at the very top of the hotel which means lots of stairs to climb. But it has a treehouse feel that is very unique and nice. The Girl at the front desk was very very nice and accommodating and is a credit to the hotel. This hotel would probably not be suitable for young families but if you like to party this would be an awesome place to stay. You can't get any closer to the action then you can here. The downside is the music doesn't stop until 4am, but if you wanted to party till 4....... it would be great. This hotel has lots of charm for the adventurous and the price is very reasonable. All In all, a great place for young People that want to party.

We stayed one night at this hotel in January 2019. We only needed a place to sleep so we decided to choose a hotel with a cheap price and central location in Playa del Carmen. The rooms are very basic and didn’t appeared clean. We also had a problem with a smell so we had to change to a new room. Also the check-in process took a lot time because of problem with our booking which we made the same day (this is more a problem with Expedia’s booking system). This hotel is not a great option for couples that want to experience some quality time and that want a nice place to stay. It’s more a hotel for people who only care about a great location.

Basically the only good thing is that the "hotel" has a very good location. Here are the points I saw during my stay: - Wifi didn't work - I was with 4 people in the same room and only one mini bottle of watter for all the days. - there are a lot of noice because the night clubs around - the shower room did not have a door - my room was the last in the 1st floor, in the corner there were a lot of things that seems to be garbage.
