Casa Ticul

I booked Casa Ticul through Booking and it was a total disaster. The rooms were full of mold, dirty and cockroached. We had to endure two nights out of the six booked and they didn't give us a penny back. The place is a complete mess, and I do not recommend it at all. Avoid this place!

Disaster. We stayed there for one night after Hurrican Berryl. The light didn't work and you had to pay Baar. Since nothing was open we could not change our money. The receptionist who was completely alone said that we could not go anywhere else otherwise it would still be booked. She didn't give us a solution so I told her to call her supervisor. What did our passports have to leave there as a depot and were allowed to stay and pay the next day. She offered us 3 rooms as all before were used and not cleaned. Since my partner provided his details and not me (because I carried my sleeping son) they also booked me the night in the credit card. ALTHOUGH I explicitly asked if there was a problem if the information was not mine.

We booked at the Hotel, arrived late with my 3 young children (because seeing the rooms before I would not have paid). The first piece we were given was with mushrooms on the ceiling, closet, and bathroom ceiling, a terrible damp smell, even the bed was wet. We asked to change and the. Second piece had moisture and curtains full of mushrooms and the third option that gave us a larger piece, had no mushrooms but was dirty, floor with dirt, unmade bathroom, walls that were peeling, door with a degree of humidity that made it start to open. All wrong. Since we had a tour at 6:30 a.m. and we were late, we stayed another night to give it a try, but in the night a cockroach came out, the bathroom did not work and the air conditioning stopped working... Bad, bad. We withdrew and did not want to refund anything, now I am peeling with booking because they show unreal photos, the pool is not what. Shown, not the pieces. So it will be very good location, but not worth such an unkept place
