City Express Playa del Carmen

Fatima the desk representative along with the rest of the staff went out of there way to take care of all my needs. I would definitely stay there if I return to Playa Del Carmen.

Rooms have a good size and a modern style but they have maintenance issues. Our room had a connecting door and it was uncomfortable to be listening the playing and shouting of the kids next room. We changed room a the desk chair was full of mold, the safety box wasn’t working and the toilet had no pressure. The awful part was the Front Office manager told us we couldn’t be changing rooms because the staff gets bamboo by the management. I asked to speak to the General Manager at 9:00am to explain the issues and I was told he arrives after 10am. In the end, we finally got a good working condition room without any apologies for the inconvenience and a upset front office manager.

We stayed for only one night in the hotel and it was quite good, the room is quite clean and nice, we had no problem with the air conditioning , it is a hotel more like for people going on business but quite well also includes a breakfast consisting of the basics, eggs, chilaquiles some fruit juices and coffee,
