We recently stayed at Dreams Aventura Riviera Maya and had a nice overall experience, but there were definitely some pros and cons.
Pros:
The resort was extremely clean and well-maintained.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean.
The drinks were excellent, with a good variety and quality.
The main pool was beautiful and enjoyable for both adults and kids.
The Explorer's Club was a great feature for children, and the staff did a wonderful job keeping kids entertained.
Cons:
The beach was disappointing. It's more of a small brown lagoon than the clear, swimmable Caribbean beach many travelers expect.
The food was underwhelming. While there were several restaurants, we didn't find any of them particularly good.
Service throughout the resort was friendly but consistently slow, especially during meals.
There was no air conditioning in the restaurants or elevators, which made dining and getting around uncomfortable in the summer heat.
Overall, I'd rate Dreams Aventura Riviera Maya 3.5 out of 5 stars. If you're looking for a clean, family-friendly resort with a nice pool and kids' club, it's a solid choice. However, if a beautiful beach and great food are priorities, you may want to consider other resorts in the Riviera Maya.
