We stumbled upon El Dorado Royale a few years ago and we are happy we did! I should have written this review months ago. The place is amazing! We love the location. The food is good, the grounds are immaculate but most of all the people are what continues to lure us back! We would like to mention a few. Our butlers Paula and Hugo took great care of us! Araceli at the Martini Bar was great! Angel, who waited on us at a few locations was above fantastic! Daniel at Kick was awesome! Isabella, the pool waitress! WOW!!! She was the best! Last but definitely not least, Norma at Rincon was sooo friendly and accommodating! We will be back in February so have the Margaritas ready!!!!

Another truly memorable stay at the Diamond Villa at El Dorado Royale! From the moment we arrived, we were reminded why we keep returning. Felipe welcomed us in the lobby with his warm smile and made the short golf cart ride to member check-in while taking care of our luggage—the perfect beginning to our vacation. Our butlers, Claudio and Adriana, are so much more than butlers—they genuinely feel like family. Their kindness, thoughtful attention to every detail, and sincere care made our stay feel effortless and deeply special. Jorge was also outstanding, always arriving with a smile and ready to help with anything we needed. A special thank you to Silverario, who kept our private pool spotless every single day. It was always sparkling, inviting, and ready for us to enjoy. We also want to recognize Alberto, our wonderful beach butler. He made sure we always had cold drinks and delicious snacks while relaxing by the ocean. His attentiveness made our beach days even more enjoyable and completely carefree. The grounds at El Dorado Royale are stunning. Everywhere you look is beautifully maintained, but what stands out just as much is the incredible staff. Everyone works so hard, yet they still greet you with a smile and a cheerful “¡Hola!” It creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the resort. The waitstaff—Rodrigo and Jario (and sommelier Ricardo) at D’Italia, Victor and Yuli at La Cabana, and Luis at Pool 32—consistently went above and beyond to make us feel at home. D’Italia is our favorite dinner restaurant, and their friendly personalities and excellent service made every meal and every drink even more enjoyable. Our favorite lunch places included chili dogs from Kick and pizza at La Cabana. One of the best parts of returning to El Dorado Royale is the people. We also appreciated seeing familiar faces from past visits, which always adds to the feeling of coming home. It isn’t just the beautiful resort, delicious food, or breathtaking grounds that make this place so special—it’s the people. The staff genuinely treat you like family, and that is what keeps bringing us back year after year. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable. We already can’t wait for our next visit in three weeks!

Well we have been members for 10 years now. Go once a year. The reason I gave a 4 is bc the resort is showing its age. Meaning, the furniture is so old it’s uncomfortable to sit on. Whether at certain bars and or restaurants. Not all of them. The pool chaise chairs the plastic with the vinyl mesh are terribly uncomfortable. The worn down chairs basically have no cushion or support. the back of the thighs are being compressed on the chairs wooden frame. Ridiculous ! Resort needs to update. Now the workers, staff, food and beverage were wonderful. No complaints. Kind friendly and very helpful. My wife fell down a step holding food not paying while talking to her friend and severely sprained both ankles no she wasn’t drinking. Was wheelchair bound for 5 days. Our butlers Paul and Ángeles were awesome. They listened and performed great. setting up the shuttle rides. Making our dinner reservations. Bringing coolers of so I could ice her feet every 2 hours for almost the whole stay. Itzel our hostess at certain restaurants was so kind friendly and personable. Loved her. The breakfast crew at the buffet were happy cheerful staffers that rent the extra mile. We took pics. Roberto’s speedy Gonzalez, Gerardo’s to name a few. Now for dinner selections. In order the best first. Wine Kitchen superb, casitas Italian excellent, jade asian loved it, kam pai, Habbs, Mexican Fuentes and Santa Fe.
