Encanto Paseo del Sol Family Deluxe Condominiums

This is a wonderful, magical condominium! We visit twice a year and we have never been disappointed. The condo units are lovely and very well kept. There is everything you would need to have a great trip right inside each unit. The condos have the biggest pool in we've seen in Playa del Carmen, and its a 5 minute walk to the beach, and a 15 minute walk to 5th Avenue. Service is 2nd to none! We love, love, love it!!!

If you are looking for a large unit and you don’t mind old mouldy smelly rooms and bathrooms, then this place may do. It’s not a 3 star hotel. At the most it’s a 2.5 stars, given the size, pool and furniture. The smell is very unpleasant, and there is black mould all around the bathroom. Paseo has no restaurants or even a coffee place. In the evening the staff is all gone. Also, to get to the beach, you have to get up very early and line up to get a pass for the beach as there are limited spaces for Paseo residents at the beach. At 11 pm you will be asked to leave the pool area as the “pool time is over at 11 pm”. The shower switch in our bathroom didn’t work and it was so old that the switch to turn the shower head on was rusty and the handle was broken. See the video.

This condo is perfect, apartments are very well furnished and comfortable. Location is perfect and with access to the beach very close. If you want to move to other places you can find taxis all day long and commercial district is walking distance. We felt like home and enjoy every moment, including using the pool which is great!!. I will return 100%, this is my home at Playacar
