Hotel Costa del Mar

We spent four nights there. Our room smelt of mold. The room is not healthy for sleeping. The closet ceiling was black with mold. The price of the room included a safe - but the receptionist did not give us the key, so we did not use it. That's why we carried all our valuables with us everywhere. The hotel is located right next to the noisiest nightclubs of Playa del Carmen - so we advise you to buy drinks in the store and enjoy the night show program of the neighbors in your room or in front of it. There is nothing from sleeping during the night. It's quiet during the day - we slept on the beds on the beach. These are our objections to the hotel. Our compliments: The rooms are cleaned every day and then the towels are changed. The bathroom is ok, no problems with hot water. No insects. The staff is extremely friendly. Daily music on the beach is for every recommendation. The beachfront restaurant does not serve coffee. The quality of sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach is excellent.

We just returned from Cozumel after 25 years. This time staying a few miles out of town at Costa Del Sol. I can't say enough wonderful things about this property. First off the managers and entire staff were amazing. We walked into a spotless big home. Housekeeping did an exceptional job. There was not a speck of dust or a bug anywhere. Everything sparkled with cleanliness. Enrique met us as we pulled in and did a walk through of the house. Anytime we had a question or needed help with a serve, he quickly returned a text or phone call. The location is beautiful with the infinity pool out front. Several of us gathered as the sun was going down every evening. Taxis are plentiful or you can easily rent a car. Rental agency dropped off and then picked up the car at the end of our trip. This is easily one of the top rentals we have enjoyed in over 25 years of vacationing in Mexico. March 2022

I had the worst experience of my life . They let me sleep on the couch waiting for the time of the check in . I arrived before and they didn’t considered me at all ! I would never gonna come back in this hotel and I will definitely do not recommend to anyone
