The condos are nice but the adjacent golf course starts groundskeeping noise at 6 am and has loud disco music on the driving range all day. Plus there are no additional services, like restaurants or shops on the property so you have to have a car or rely on taxi service,

Beautiful property adjacent to the Grand Coyote Golf course. Penthouse unit overlooking golf course and clubhouse. Guard gated and a short walk to the beach.Beach front clubhouse as well. I have waited 10 years for this opportunity .

I would have given this place at least 4.5 stars if it wasn't for the gangster security guards! We stayed here for 18 nights in total. The apartment/pools were amazing. But it's at least 45minutes walk too where the main action is, and at least an 1.15 hours walk to the Walmart. So in reality you need to use taxis. That normally wouldn't be so bad as the taxis are quite reasonable in Mexico. However the guards make the taxi drivers pay a back hander fee to enter the gates to pick you up from the complex. This adds another 150% onto the bill for the taxi. and that is everytime you need a taxi. Soon adds up. You cannot call an independent taxi to come and collect you from the complex as the guards won't let them in! It has to be the guys who the guards call. Mini taxi cartel. On certain occasions my parents would come into the town with us and share the taxi. The guards told the taxi driver to say to us that we would need a bigger vehicle as there was four of us which doubles the price again. We could easily fit in a normal sized cab as we are all petite. But the guards don't miss an opportunity to make a quick buck off you. The worst thing is unless you walk 25 minutes out of the complex you have no choice but to get stung every time by there little scam
