Mega big Cockroaches. Huge noise from the rusty air conditioning

I stayed with my partner for 10 nights, and it was wonderful. The hotel is just steps from 5th Avenue and very close to the beach. First, we were given a room in their Deluxe tower, which is outside the main building, very comfortable and with a large balcony. That tower has a small pool. Unfortunately, due to electrical issues, we were moved to the main building. The room was still very comfortable, but the balcony was much smaller. We added breakfast service to our reservation, and we found it delicious. Just a heads up if you don't like eating the same thing all the time, as the options are limited, but the taste is excellent. Overall, we had a pleasant stay; the only problem was the room change, but everything else was very good! We did not encounter the problems mentioned in other reviews. Yes, we recommend it and we will return.

Many years ago I stayed at the hotel and although I knew it was not a 5-star, I think it no longer reaches one. Don't be fooled around the room like I did. It had rained (little) and the staircase was flooded, I was going with elderly people with visual limitations, so I asked if there was a possibility to remove the pooled water to avoid any accident since it was night (7 pm or so) they told me that there were no staff and if I wanted to give me a broom for me to sweep. Besides this rudeness the reception staff was much ruder to my whole family. The hard beds, the grey and yellow towels of dirt and percussion. You can't wash your mouth with salt water. Anyway, I didn't think even the service was from a hostel. The only thing that is saved is the man who helped us to put the suitcases up (not to put them down because I guess he was gone) and the water was still the same pooled and now with mud. Please, if you can avoid going to this place do it for your sake. I think the only thing left is that they demolish it and with the reception staff, I really don't know what they do given the customer's face, they should be recast where guests don't have to go through their rudeness.
