The Palms Resorts of Mazatlan

This is certainly the best place to stay in Mazatlan. Excellent restaurant (Panama) and the warm welcome from everyone working here is genuine. Special 'Hola' to Julio, whose English is perfect and who is an excellent convetsationalist.

We stay here every time we're in Mazatlan. This time we stayed in a suite - very roomy with a beautiful view of the ocean. The pool area is always clean and enjoyable. Business seemed slow - both the Panama Restaurant that usually draws a large crowd and the hotel. Mazatlan in general was fairly slow. The rates we reserved last November were substantially higher than current room rates and the hotel allowed us to cancel and rebook at the lower rates. If you're looking for sun Mazatlan can't be beat; the further south in Mexico one travels the more clouds one encounters.

Very nice hotel, comfortable rooms, with good space, clean and above all an amazing ocean view, the most beautiful sunsets. The attention of the excellent staff, willing to always help with a smile. The Panama restaurant within the hotel, is a very interesting option at mealtimes. Perhaps the only thing I would object to is that the hotel itself does not have a bar/cafeteria and everything goes through the restaurant, and that implies that every consumption requires a slightly complicated bureaucracy, if you want to do it at room cost.
