FIESTA INN NOGALES

Excellent experience at Fiesta Inn Nogales. I used the bar and the business center; in both, the staff was very attentive and proactive. I had a problem in the room, I reported it, and they resolved it quickly. I paid part with a card and part with Fiesta Rewards points. This time I rate the entire experience 10/10. Very happy and satisfied.

It is truly sad how this hotel is now. I worked for Grupo Posadas from July 2003 to September 2011 in different cities, and everything was very professional and of high quality standards. Now, after visiting this hotel, I realize that none of that exists anymore. I arrived on Monday, May 18, and there was no bellboy to assist us (I traveled with my wife and my 2 babies who are 6 months old). The guard at the entrance didn't even flinch when he saw us bringing down strollers, luggage, etc.; I had to grab a cart to take all my things to the room. Room 329 was poorly painted, without an iron or ironing board, just a sad hook in the closet, the door drags and is very hard to open, the blackout curtains have holes, the bathroom floor is unpolished and looks dirty, the sink is broken, when you flush the toilet it makes a lot of noise from the tank filling system, there is no baseboard and the bed frame looks very dirty, etc. The carpets in the hallways are torn and stained, there are missing registers in the ceiling, and the walls, besides being dirty and poorly detailed in the repairs, have gaps that need to be filled. The ice machine on the floor is not working and is in deplorable condition. The breakfast buffet the next day had no signs announcing the dishes; the ingredients for preparing the eggs look old; the cook at the grill adds too much oil to the preparation and leaves the eggs swimming in oil. Very, very bad overall. At the time of departure, once again the same guard saw my wife struggling with the stroller, the baby, and a box she was carrying, and he did not move an inch to help her. The only "redeeming" part of this experience was the guy from housekeeping who was going to vacuum the carpet (after 7 PM, by the way), and my wife asked him if he could please leave it for tomorrow because we were putting the babies to sleep, and he kindly said no problem, that he would sweep better to avoid making noise. It goes without saying that I will never return to that hotel, not even if they give me a free night.

Very good experience again at Fiesta Inn Nogales. I made my reservation through the Fiesta Rewards app and was able to pay for part of the stay with points, which worked very well and makes the program very convenient. From arrival we received a welcome document with a courtesy for a drink at the bar, a detail that is appreciated. During the stay we also requested an iron and we were given it immediately. I especially want to thank Jessica and Norma for their friendly and professional attention, as well as the restaurant staff, who always attended us very promptly. Overall, a very comfortable stay with consistent service. Fiesta Inn Nogales is always compliant and happy to return.
