City Express Reynosa

I came on a business trip to Reynosa, and due to travel expenses, we had to stay here in this hotel, and when we arrived, I found the SHEET DIRTY!

Avoid at all costs! These people have no clue how to run a hotel. They call themselves an airport hotel yet they don't have a hotel shuttle (and rudely recommend you finding a cab). The hotel is on a high-speed large highway with nothing around it. They have no food facilities and the nearest place to eat is a 7-11 that is a 15-minute walk away in a road with no sidewalk (trucks speeding by a few meters away). I spent over an hour in the lobby waiting for a room, even when my reservation was done way in advance and my check-in time was consistent with my reservation (4:30 pm). Internet is slow, the water stinks like sulfur, and staff has no clue how to solve any of these problems, and when they feel frustrated lashed out against me. This is the worst managed hotel I have ever stayed in my life. If you care for yourself and your travel experience AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

Came with the family for two days, upon entering the first room it had a very strong smell of sewer, went to reception they said they had no more rooms, asked for a refund and then magically a room became available, got moved there, even worse, air conditioner unit was extremely loud, shower water was warm at the best and there was no pressure, had to take a shower leaning on the wall, went down to reception (the phone was also not working) and they said maintenance started at 10am (it was 7am) and there were no rooms available for us to move again, so at the end they didn’t do anything and said a refund was not possible since the beginning, maintenance person eventually came and said it was only this room which had a problem and should get moved...
