Roomnot ready at 3pm even though that was the checkin time. Eventually found us a room at 4.15pm. No apology given just told to wait. Kept saying " hotel is very busy" We weren't even offered a drink whilst waiting. Poor customer service. Unable to speak to a manager despite asking to do so.

The location of the hotel is really good and Mérida is a beautiful city that I would visit again anytime. The hotel itself could not convince me. The building looks like a concrete block, the rooms are small, old and unwelcoming. Particularly unpleasant was that the windows could not be opened and no balcony was available. As a result, one was solely dependent on the air conditioning and had no way to let fresh air into the room. Very disappointing was that money was missing after the room cleaning. My complaint to management was not treated seriously and comprehensibly, in my view, which left me with an uncertain feeling. The restaurant also seemed cool and uncomfortable. Overall, I would not book this hotel again. Merida yes – this hotel definitely not again.

Beautiful modern entrance, excellent buffet for breakfast , the rooms could be updated a little. Unfortunately it was noisy where our room was but not all rooms heard the same.
