The staff is, without a doubt, the best part of the hotel: friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Unfortunately, practically everything else needs a thorough review.
The hotel presents itself as a high-quality boutique accommodation, and the building could become one, because it has charm and potential. But it needs a comprehensive renovation that, due to the state of some facilities, seems to be decades overdue.
The air conditioners are very noisy, the rooms are poorly lit, and, at least in our case, opening the window means completely losing privacy, since it looks directly onto a common hallway through which other guests circulate. The breakfast is far below what is expected for an establishment that claims to be in this category.
It is a shame, because with a serious renovation it could become a magnificent hotel. In its current state, the image and category it conveys do not correspond to the actual experience. The only thing that clearly saves the stay is the extraordinary kindness of its employees.
