Montejo Palace

Hotel is well located at one of the main streets of Merida, Paseo Montejo, near to the museum, for a nice promenade. Bus stop is also near to go to downtown. Facilities are old, but our triple room was big, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Try "Colón" sherbets, at front the hotel, they are delicious! El hotel esta bien localizado en paseo Montejo, una de las principales calles, cerca del museo, y un área excelente para pasear. Hay paradas de camión cerca para ir al centro. El edificio es viejo, pero nuestra habitación era grande, limpia y confortable. Staff amigable, No se pierdan las Nieves "Colón" enfrente, deliciosas!

Is a vey old bulding in the heart of Paseo Montejo.Very friendly staff big room with air con hot water and cable tv.Each room has two duble bad and for the fee of 600 pesos a nite wich come to 300 pesos each.The got restaurant if u fancy breakfast and a car park.Very good relation quality price.Of course is not Hilton but is compared to same category in Merida this is heaven.Very suggested

I have been at this hotel for two nights in Dec 2013. The good point is that the hotel is centrally located. Not much to say about the rest...pretty bad. Room was stinky, basin was not working properly with the result that after using it bathroom got flooded. It was Jan 1 we left the room at 12 and when back at 18 it was still untidy. Pretty sure there arr much better options in the city.
