Reef Yucatan All Inclusive

We stayed only one night to get to know this beautiful hotel, on our wedding anniversary. We thank the hotel for providing us with the upgrade to an ocean view room, which are undoubtedly the best! Another plus is that they granted us early check-in and late check-out... another point in favor of the hotel because we were able to make the most of the use of the facilities at the pool, as well as the food and drinks at the restaurant and snack bar. Unfortunately, the largest pool was under maintenance (which we were not notified about in advance), but we enjoyed the other smaller pool that is connected. The beach is beautiful, with bluish colors and the sand is quite clean and white. They gifted us a beautiful sunset that was perfect for photos! Congratulations on how well you maintain your beach. The swings located in that area also add a charming touch. In that space, we were able to find loungers in the shade and others to sunbathe. They also offer relaxing massage services for an additional cost. There is indeed a service from the waiters to bring food and drinks to that area, but it is very infrequent... personally, we chose to go for our food and drinks to the snack bar, and it was much faster. We had the opportunity to see a show in the theater by a comedian who, with all due respect, did not make us laugh much; he made many local jokes that we hardly understood (since we are not from Yucatán). Something that also bothered us a bit was the recurring issues they had with the sound and the microphone... I believe that for such events, they should have conducted a sound check beforehand. One thing we liked about the theater/club is that it has bartender service inside... very good service there. Perhaps with a better show and a good entertainment team, the nighttime events would improve. The food and drinks were quite good, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We really enjoyed a dinner at the restaurant, with a saxophonist who was amazing! He played beautifully and delighted us with a wide variety in his repertoire. It was magical to hear him on our wedding anniversary night and also on Mother's Day. We were assigned a double room with an ocean view, a king-size bed... and everything was wonderful! Clean, spacious, with restocking in the minibar. It offers a balcony with two lounge chairs where you can see the beach and the beautiful palm trees. The only issue we had in the room was that we could not use the bathtub because it either didn't have a stopper or it wasn't working... other than that, everything was great with the room. I would like there to be more variety of food in your restaurant during lunch (1:00 PM to 3:00 PM). At breakfast and dinner, I found the buffet to be good, but at lunch, we only had the option to choose between chicken, salads, and soup. We will definitely return soon, and hopefully, we can find a few more options for lunch, like some cuts of meat, seafood, etc. Thank you very much, Hotel Reef Yucatán!

Do not go here. It’s a scam trap. My parents called in to do a reservation they asked for half payment. When I called the next day to verify they stated that there was no reservation and that the person whom my parents spoke to does not work there. They did not provide refund.

Excellent service ,human warmth,great facilities and very good food and drinks. Highly recommended. I'll see you soon. Antonio de Puebla
